Yes that is Pikes Peak in the distance. Painted from my photo taken during the drive up Rampart Range Road, Colorado Springs, CO. A fire several years back had devastated the Aspen groves and there’s was a beauty in seeing the beginnings of new growth and rebirth for the forest.
