One thing to rely on, especially in the summertime here in Colorado Springs, is that the day can be all sunny and perfect when out of the blue, so to speak, a late afternoon down pouring rain will send you running if you’re not prepared.
This scene is a few blocks from home tucked between rows of houses along a canal and the backs of industrial buildings on the other side of the canal. I’m blessed to be surrounded by so much beauty.
‘Afternoon Clouds on the Front Range’ is oil on wood panel 12” x 12”. It requires framing.
