I spent at least a week of being frustrated that I couldn’t walk straight from my house over to Garden of the Gods, but there are fences, private property and no trespassing signs everywhere. Now I drive the four miles to get around it all to walk with Katja and enjoy the park. This hillside is visually lovely and flowing and then you get to the top where the uninhabited silhouettes of new construction predict the future of many more houses to come.
