Our house is very close to Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs. I take Katja for walks there as often as the weather permits. I am fascinated with rock formations and I am experimenting with materials and methods. You will be seeing a lot of work from Garden of the Gods.
This strange rock formation is one of the many that makes me smile. I see animals and gargoyles and often they show up after I’ve painted them.
‘Strange Rock Formations Make Me Smile’ is acrylic and oil on Somerset print making paper prepared with texture paste. The painting measures approximately 13.5” x 17.5”. It requires framing.
