
It’s winter 2021 in Colorado Springs, but there’s no snow except for the top of Pikes Peak. I painted Snow on the Peak referencing photos I took in the fall of 2020 while the colors and contrasts of winter were becoming more apparent. This is my first winter here and the temperature fluctuates. Even more so the visual drama fluctuates every day.
